Tejas Borja at “The BIG 5” Dubai 2017

Tejas Borja exhibited at the largest and most influential construction event in the MEA region, “The BIG 5” Dubai 2016.

The Big 5 Dubai 2017 is a 4 day event being held from 26st November to the 29th November 2017 at the Dubai World Trade Centre in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Big 5 in Dubai is the largest and the most influential construction event in the Middle East.

For the fourth consecutive year, Tejas Borja participated at The Big 5 Dubai 2017 in the Spanish Pavilion organized by ICEX, a proof that Tejas Borja is the leader manufacturer of high quality ceramic roof tiles “MADE IN SPAIN”.

The results from this event have been received very positivly by the company, adding a plus to the closing year 2017.

BATIMATEC 2017 TEJAS BORJA

The 20th International Exhibition Building, the Building and Construction Materials BATIMATEC 2017 will take place from April 23 – 27, at the Palais des Expositions Pins Maritimes in Algiers.

Tejas Borja will be showing all the novelties for 2017 in Roof tiles and Finishes and Roof components, in the Spanish pavilion stand G2 /02.

This event is organized in partnership with the Algerian Society of Fairs and Exhibitions (SAFEX) records every year a very high participation with more than a thousand exhibitors, half of foreign companies from over 24 countries.

Tejas Borja exhibited at the largest and most established construction event in the MEA region, “The BIG 5” Dubai 2016.

The Big 5 Dubai 2016 is a 4 day event being held from 21st November to the 24th November 2016 at the Dubai World Trade Centre in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Big 5 in Dubai has been home of the largest gathering of construction professionals in the Middle East.

For the third consecutive year, Tejas Borja participated at The Big 5 Dubai 2016 in the Spanish Pavilion organized by ICEX, a proof that Tejas Borja is the leader manufacturer of ceramic roof tiles in Spain.

The results from this event have been received very positivly by the company as we welcomed lots of long time collaborators and new potential clients at our booth during the 4 day event.

Dry installation of clay roof tiles

WHY DRY INSTALLATION?

The fitting process of clay roof tiles is very important and it should considered at the time of choosing the material to be used on the roof.

Dry installation has significant advantages over conventional installation, as well as improving the performance of the roof during both summer and winter.

To ensure that the roof is installed correctly, air must circulate continuously in the space under the roof tiles. This micro-ventilation will allow air to enter via the eave lines and leave through the ridge lines, increasing through the use of ventilation roof tiles distributed along the roof.

During the summer, this air chamber will reduce the amount of heat received by the support for the roof tile and, therefore, the heat transferred into the building, reducing air conditioning costs.

In winter, indoor ventilation will prevent condensation from forming on the materials used to build up the roof (roof tiles, insulation, support, etc.), as they harm their durability. Furthermore, this condensation can affect the comfort of the building, producing moisture that is conducive to the formation of moss and bacteria that reduce the quality of the air inside.

With regards fittings, the use of mortar is not recommended due to its poor reaction with ceramics and the rigidity of joints. Roof tiles should be fixed mechanically or with adhesives made specifically for roof tiles, since these give the materials the necessary room to allow for the movements caused by expansion and changes in temperature.

To ensure their optimal installation, the Roof Tiles should be fixed to a support previously prepared with a double batten layout. Tejas Borja has a wide range of clay accessories and roof components as a solution for the ventilation, waterproofing, illumination and dry installation of roof tiles.

Tejas Borja at Carthage 2016

From the 18th to 22nd May, Tejas Borja is present at the International Show of Construction and Building CARTHAGE 2016.

CARTHAGE 2016 (…), is a biennial professional show being organized by the International Society of Tunis Fairs in collaboration with the National Building Federation (FNB-UTICA) and the Technical Centre for Building Materials, Ceramics and Glass (CTMCCV) and takes place in the Kram Exhibition Park in Tunis, being this the 13th edition.

CARTHAGE 2016 is the key event of the industry in the Maghreb region, and hosts many foreign exhibitors in all building branches from several countries (Germany, Turkey, China, Italy, Spain, France, Morocco, Poland). The event gathers over 350 foreign exhibitors from various sectors of construction, mainly industrial producers and manufacturers, representatives and distributors of products and equipment for construction.

Comptoirs Reunís du Centre (CRC Groupe) presents with Tejas Borja their latest news and product catalogue “RAISE the Roof” at stand 1420 – hall 1.

This was CEVISAMA 2016

Tejas Borja was present at the last edition of CEVISAMA fair, celebrated from February 1st to 5th in Valencia. This is the most important event for the ceramics sector in Spain and it’s considered one of the best international fairs of ceramic materials.

Our 160 sqm stand received numerous visits of architects, clients and distributors from Southern and Northern Europe , as well as from Middle East, Africa, Asia and America.

In this last edition we displayed the new product line for the Flat tiles together with our most representative roof tiles and colours from the wide range of our catalogue. Also there was presented the wide range of ROOF COMPONENTS for the dry installation, developed to obtain healthier, lighter and energetically more efficient roofs with a longer useful life. We offer solutions relative to ventilation, waterproofing, fixation, etc.

Another major novelty was the presentation of the new catalogue 2016 “RAISE the Roof – A century around tiles”, which received words of admiration from all the assistants at the event.

In addition to all these innovations, there was also presented the new website tejasborja.com with a new look and updated contents. On the website there have been included new sections like our Blog, where we will be telling everything related to the company like our new technologies, new products and colours, advices, events and much more.

In conclusion, we are very satisfied for the success from first to last day of fair and very grateful to all those who have visited us in Cevisama 2016.

Tejas Borja is proud to present its new 2016 catalogue “RAISE the Roof” – A century around tiles.

On the new catalogue we present our latest product line: The ROOF COMPONENTS. This wide range of products are designed for the dry installation of the roof tiles and with the proposal of developing healthier, lighter and energetically more efficient roofs with a longer useful life. We offer solutions relative to ventilation, waterproofing, fixation and lighting.

There is also a bigger quantity of high definition pictures of roofs to choose what model fits to each client and different installation guides for every format of roof tile on the catalogue.
