This international standard specifies the requirements for a management system which promotes environmental protection and the prevention of pollution.
In this way Tejas Borja demonstrates its dedication to reducing its environmental impact and enhancing its environmental performance, and ensures that all the ceramic products and rooftiles sold by Tejas Borja are manufactured in compliance with ISO 14001:2015 and our ES17/21541 certificate.
As a result, our environmental management system allows us to set objectives for continuous improvement through specific goals analysed using a lifecycle perspective, guaranteeing compliance with applicable legislation at all times.

Red Dot rewards the best designers and manufacturers of the year.
On 8th of July , the award ceremony for the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2019 took place in Essen, which recognizes every year the best products and designs in the world.
Tejas Borja, receives the RedDot Product Design 2019 Award for the Flat-5XL BorjaJET flat roof tile; a design and innovation recognition under criteria such as the level of innovation, functionality, formal quality, longevity and ergonomics.
Several members of the Tejas Borja team traveled to the German capital to collect the prestigious Red Dot Award during Designers Night, held at the RedDot Design Museum located in the Zollverein industrial estate, a world heritage site. The director of R + D + i, Alberto Puerta, together with, Miguel Usach from technical department and Andrés Ferrando, part of the export department, attended the important event.
The post-ceremony party provided the opportunity to celebrate and have contact with the rest of the winners. In addition, the guests had an exclusive advance of three special exhibitions, before their official opening on July 12, and were able to try some of the award-winning products and appreciate their excellent design quality.
Also, on Tuesday morning, Mr. Thomas Kufen, Mayor of Essen, organized a reception at the City Hall to congratulate our team and the rest of the winners for their innovative products.
The Flat-5XL BorjaJET roof tile (Nepal Orange) is exhibited at the Red Dot Museum of Essen, in the exhibition of the winners of Design in the discipline of “Materials and surfaces”. As well, it is present in the catalog of products awarded with the Red Dot 2019.

The Revolution of Tejas Borja in Cevisama 2019
One more year, the leading company in Spain in the manufacture of ceramic roof tiles and roofing systems has chosen CEVISAMA as one of its major international exhibition platforms. A successful edition, even better than 2018, thanks to the recognition and number of visits received.
After the recent investments made in its facilities in Lliria, the company has reinforced its leadership thanks to the continuous improvement in technology and design, which has resulted in the BorjaJET range of ceramic roof tiles with digital inkjet decoration, unique in the world and praised by architects and designers at an international level.
These exclusive finishes have been perfectly captured on the innovative Flat-5XL tile, a unique product consolidated as the largest flat roof tile in the market, to be used on both roof and ventilated facade systems.
In addition, due to the need of the sector to contribute to the energy efficiency and quality of pitched roofs, Tejas Borja has presented several complete roof installation systems, developed to improve the energy performance and durability of roofs.

This year CEVISAMA was specially addressed to prescription, focusing the offer to a visitor profile linked to the Contract channel (architects, interior designers, and project promoters). For this purpose, a new pavilion was carefully set, which connected by a tunnel led visitors to the latest trends in materials and products for projects. Along with the most important Firms in each sector, Tejas Borja presented its range of roof tiles with Inkjet technology in this unique space.

AQUIBAT, the most important event for the public works and construction sector was held in Nouvelle-Aquitaine (France – Bordeaux) from 14 to 16 March (2018) in the Parc des Expositions in Bordeaux.
On its Aquibat 2018 stand (Hall 1 – Allée D – Travée 35 – Stand 3509) Tejas Borja presented its recently developed innovations, which are detailed in its “DOSSIER THE ®EVOLUTION”.
BorjaJET, the first line of tiles decorated using digital technology on an industrial scale, gives excellent definition in the reproduction of all types of effects never achieved before, combining the richness of natural materials with the technical properties of tiles. This revolutionary technology makes it possible to create finishes never seen before.
To complement this range of finishes, the company has debuted a new format of tile which is equally revolutionary. The FLAT-5XL is the largest ceramic tile in the world, unique in the sector and perfectly flat. Tejas Borja also used AQUIBAT to launch its new complete system for insulated and ventilated roofs which provides maximum energy efficiency, something essential for today’s buildings. The Big 5 Dubai is a 4 day event being held from 26th November to the 29th November 2017 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, United Arab Emirates. This event showcases products like The Big 5 in Dubai has been home to the largest gathering of construction professionals in the Middle East.

¿Are the old roof tiles reusable? Do they have any warranty??
Usually in old building we can find old roof tiles, basically Arab-style roofing tiles or Marseille roof tiles, that were originally handmade produced by smallold local “potters” so there is no guarantee to be used in a new deck or for a roof rehabilitation. According with the new mandatory CTE (Código Técnico de la Edificación / Technical Building Code) is mentioned for the supply of any construction material on site, the following:
“7.2.1. Control of documentation of supplies
1. The product suppliers must provide documentation and quality guarantees required for the products supplied. The suppliers will deliver to the builder, who will provide to the manager on site, all product identification documents required by the mandatory regulations. This documentation shall include, at least, the following documents: a) Documents of origin, supply sheet and labeling; b) The manufacturer’s guarantee certificate, signed by a natural person; and c) lThe documents of conformity or administrative authorizations required by regulation, including documentation corresponding to the CE marking of construction products…”.
If we cannot find the manufacturer of the old mentioned roof tiles and there is no documentation for them, there will be no warranty and can be used only for decorative purposes and not to fulfill the functions for which the roof tiles are inicially made (covering and protection against rainwater and winds.)
