The Revolution of Tejas Borja in Cevisama 2019

One more year, the leading company in Spain in the manufacture of ceramic roof tiles and roofing systems has chosen CEVISAMA as one of its major international exhibition platforms. A successful edition, even better than 2018, thanks to the recognition and number of visits received.

After the recent investments made in its facilities in Lliria, the company has reinforced its leadership thanks to the continuous improvement in technology and design, which has resulted in the BorjaJET range of ceramic roof tiles with digital inkjet decoration, unique in the world and praised by architects and designers at an international level.

These exclusive finishes have been perfectly captured on the innovative Flat-5XL tile, a unique product consolidated as the largest flat roof tile in the market, to be used on both roof and ventilated facade systems.

In addition, due to the need of the sector to contribute to the energy efficiency and quality of pitched roofs, Tejas Borja has presented several complete roof installation systems, developed to improve the energy performance and durability of roofs.

Additional to the many novelties presented, TEJAS BORJA was Awarded “The Best Stand of CEVISAMA 2019”, evaluated by the Official College of Interior Designers of the Valencian Community (CDICV). The members of the jury highlighted the careful lighting of the space and the product creating elegant and welcoming environments.

This year CEVISAMA was specially addressed to prescription, focusing the offer to a visitor profile linked to the Contract channel (architects, interior designers, and project promoters). For this purpose, a new pavilion was carefully set, which connected by a tunnel led visitors to the latest trends in materials and products for projects. Along with the most important Firms in each sector, Tejas Borja presented its range of roof tiles with Inkjet technology in this unique space.

And all this has happened in the first month of 2019, just when the family company turns 120 years dedicated to one single purpose: The manufacture of ceramic roof tiles. We hope that it will be the beginning of a year for the memory in a reference Firm of ceramic covers, recognized worldwide.

Tejas Borja will be present at Cevisama 2019, from 28 January to 1 February at Feria Valencia.

Tejas Borja presents from the most traditional formats and finishes, such as curved or mixed tiles, to the most innovative models and finishings on the market, such as the Flat-5XL ceramic tile (the largest flat tile in the world) and the finishings of the BorjaJET range (the only company in the sector that applies InkJet finishings to the decoration of ceramic tiles). In addition, a wide range of non-ceramic components and roofing systems for installation, thus converting us into experts and references in the sector of pitched roofs.

Tejas Borja at AQUIBAT 2018 (France)

AQUIBAT, the most important event for the public works and construction sector was held in Nouvelle-Aquitaine (France – Bordeaux) from 14 to 16 March (2018) in the Parc des Expositions in Bordeaux.

On its Aquibat 2018 stand (Hall 1 – Allée D – Travée 35 – Stand 3509) Tejas Borja presented its recently developed innovations, which are detailed in its “DOSSIER THE ®EVOLUTION”.

BorjaJET, the first line of tiles decorated using digital technology on an industrial scale, gives excellent definition in the reproduction of all types of effects never achieved before, combining the richness of natural materials with the technical properties of tiles. This revolutionary technology makes it possible to create finishes never seen before.

To complement this range of finishes, the company has debuted a new format of tile which is equally revolutionary. The FLAT-5XL is the largest ceramic tile in the world, unique in the sector and perfectly flat. When combined with BorjaJET, these tiles can be used to make any type of roof conceived by architects or designers.

Tejas Borja also used AQUIBAT to launch its new complete system for insulated and ventilated roofs which provides maximum energy efficiency, something essential for today’s buildings. BorjaTHERM is a THERMAL INSULATED ROOFING SYSTEM which is fast and easy to install, both for rebuilds and refurbishment projects, and gives the roof the highest levels of thermal protection.

Ventilated Efficient Roofs System

BORJASYSTEM is a dry, ventilated and safe installation roofing system. This installation system was born under the necessity of adapting to new requirements with regards to the need of reducing energy consumption, and CO2 and greenhouse gas emissions to meet Horizon 2020 energy objectives.

A BORJASYSTEM ventilated roof, installed together with the corresponding layer of thermal insulation, improves the energy efficiency of the roof, playing an important role in reducing the heat which passes through the covering to inside the home.

This roofing system minimizes the chances of condensation forming in the thermal insulation and the materials of the exterior walls and roof, thanks to the use of waterproof and breathable membranes and the continuous circulation of air between the supporting structure and the tiles. The incorrect use of mortar causes the majority of problems experienced with sloping ceramic tile roofs:

  • Damp and leaks.
  • Structural overloading.
  • Cracks and breaks in parts and joints.
  • Lack of adequate ventilation.

The BORJASYSTEM installation system defines the criteria to be followed for a complete dry installation of the roof without the use of mortar. When it comes to roofing, the correct installation of the system is as or more important than the material used to finish it.

The 20th International Exhibition Building, the Building and Construction Materials BATIMATEC 2017 will take place from April 23 – 27, at the Palais des Expositions Pins Maritimes in Algiers.

Tejas Borja will be showing all the novelties for 2017 in Roof tiles and Finishes and Roof components, in the Spanish pavilion stand G2 /02.

This event is organized in partnership with the Algerian Society of Fairs and Exhibitions (SAFEX) records every year a very high participation with more than a thousand exhibitors, half of foreign companies from over 24 countries.

The 19th International Exhibition Building, the Building and Construction Materials (BATIMATEC) will take place from May 3 to 7, 2016 at the Palais des Expositions Pins Maritimes in Algiers.

Tejas Borja will be showing all the novelties for 2016 in Roof tiles and Finishes and Roof components, in the Spanish pavilion stand G2 /32.

This event is organized in partnership with the Algerian Society of Fairs and Exhibitions (SAFEX) records every year a very high participation with more than a thousand exhibitors, half of foreign companies from over 25 countries. The exhibition covering an area of 44,000 m² spread over almost all the pavilions of the exhibition center.
