A global pact for a responsible future
As of 2023, the Edilians Group (business group of which Tejas Borja is a part – from December 2021) has committed itself to the corporate social responsibility initiative of the United Nations Global Compact and its Ten Principles on human rights, labour standards, environment and anti-corruption. The letter signed by the CEO of the Edilians Group was drawn up in July 2023. The commitment link is registered and published on the UN Global Compact website.

Since 2022, Tejas Borja has been actively involved in the Edilians Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility reports. An annual report that demonstrates our concrete, collective and realistic commitment to CSR.

At Tejas Borja, our commitment to excellence and sustainability is reflected in the implementation of a robust Management System, which covers the environmental, energy and quality areas. Certified under ISO 14001:2015 in environmental management, ISO 50001:2018 in energy management, and strict product quality control, our management system is geared towards meeting the expectations of our customers and stakeholders.

Certifications
At Tejas Borja we are committed to offering ceramic tiles of the highest quality, adapted to the innovative needs of the market and with a focus on the continuous improvement of our environmental performance. ISO 14001:2015
Tejas Borja’s environmental management system is certified under the ISO 14001:2015 standard, with certificate ES17/21541. This certification guarantees that our ceramic roof tiles are manufactured following procedures that promote respect for the environment, complying with the highest standards of environmental management.
ISO 50001:2018
The ISO 50001:2018 certification, with certificate ES22/00000746 ensures our dedication to energy efficiency. This management system allows us to control energy costs, optimise consumption and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by monitoring and continuously improving our production processes.
GlobalEPD AENOR
As a member of the Spanish Association of Clay Brick and Roof Tile Manufacturers (Hispalyt), TEJAS BORJA communicates the Environmental Product Declaration for clay roof tiles and ceramic accessories which is verified by an independent third party AENOR and published in the AENOR GlobalEPD programme.
Ceramic Roof Tiles Certifications
The ceramic roof tiles manufactured by Tejas Borja have the Declaration of Performance (CE Marking). Roof tiles manufactured by extrusion and/or pressing process have AENOR Technical Data Sheet (Quality Certificate).
