Located on the outskirts of Casablanca, the new Dar es Salam Market represents a key intervention in Morocco’s urban fabric. Designed as a modern and functional public space, the market embraces sustainable solutions and materials that blend with the local architectural identity.
For the building’s roof, the TB-4 ceramic tile was selected — a large-format model known for its mixed profile, lightweight structure, and excellent performance under extreme weather conditions. Its natural finish blends seamlessly into the Moroccan landscape, honoring tradition while offering a contemporary execution.
The project was developed by the architectural firm Atelier Kasbah (www.atelierkasbah.ma), known for its contextual and sustainable approach. Construction was carried out by Build Maroc SARL.
